1.MITSOE has a MOU with University of Stirling, Scotland to launch Two Masters Programmes in Professional Learning & Leadership and Teaching & Learning

2.Dr. Asawari Bhave has received the UKIERI ‘Staff Exchange Award’ to visit University of Stirling, Scotland.

3.MIT’s VGTTA B. Ed College, Loni has received "Grant in Aid - Rs. 8 lakhs " for a Research Project from ICSSR, New Delhi.

4.As a part of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan and in association with CFBT MITSOE successfully completed training Zilla Parishad Teachers’ in 12 various locations of Satara district, wherein nearly 3000 ZP Teachers were trained by MITSOE teacher educators.

5.In process to initiate University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) - Professional teacher training programmes in association with CFBT Educational Services an Indian counter part of CFBT-UK.

ICSSR, New Delhi sponsored one day State Level Seminar was organized at MIT B. Ed College Kothrud on 6th April 2013. It was a great success, with participation from all over Maharashtra.Papers were discussed and presented by faculty and students.

MITSOE teacher trainees are successfully placed in Podar International, VIBGYOR High, Akanksha Foundation, Teach for India, New Era (Panchgani) in on-campus interviews through MITSOE Placement Cell.
